Heritage Christmas, presented by Concord Pacific, returns to Burnaby Village Museum from November 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025, offering a festive journey back in time. Wander through the museum’s 10-acre open-air site, beautifully adorned with festive lights and traditional decorations. This beloved holiday event offers seasonal entertainment, demonstrations, and family-friendly activities that create a magical, nostalgic holiday atmosphere.
Explore the Festivities:
- Twinkling Light Displays & Traditional Decorations: Stroll through the charming historic village, illuminated with sparkling holiday lights and decorated to evoke the Christmas spirit of years gone by.
- Live Entertainment & Demonstrations: Enjoy seasonal entertainment, including carolers, performances, and demonstrations of traditional crafts and holiday customs.
- Delicious Treats: Stop by Mai’s Cafe, formerly the Ice Cream Parlour, for a warm meal or treat, or indulge in offerings from food trucks scattered throughout the village.
- Carousel Rides: Don’t miss a ride on the iconic carousel! Carousel tickets are priced at $2.62 per ride or $31.45 for a Baker’s Dozen (13 rides). Prices are exclusive of tax.

Special Event: Bright in Burnaby
- Date: Saturday, November 30, 2024, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Tree Lighting Ceremony: Celebrate the season with the official tree lighting at 6:00 pm. Carousel ride proceeds during this event will go to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau, with Concord Pacific matching donations.
Admission & Parking:
- Free Admission: Entry to Heritage Christmas is free for all visitors.
- Parking: Parking may be limited during peak holiday times. Nearby parking options are available. Visitors are encouraged to use public transit, taxis, or carpool to ensure convenient access and respect for the neighbourhood.
