Robson Square Ice Rink 2025–2026: Skate in the Heart of Vancouver
The Robson Square Ice Rink is set to return for another magical season of winter fun in downtown Vancouver! Dates for the 2025–2026 skating season have not yet been announced, but the rink traditionally operates from late November through the end of February.
Whether you’re gliding under sparkling holiday lights, sipping on a warm drink, or skating hand-in-hand with loved ones, this free outdoor skating rink offers a festive and affordable way to enjoy winter in the heart of the city.

🕒 Hours: In past years, the rink has been open daily from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, with extended and special hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Admission & Rentals
Entry to the rink is free, with affordable rental options for skating equipment.

Twelve Days of Christmas: Live Music
Each December, the rink comes alive with live holiday performances as part of the Twelve Days of Christmas series. Past lineups have featured bands, jazz trios, choirs, and DJs, filling the rink with festive sounds while skaters glide across the ice.

Skating Rules for Safety
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience:

Helmets strongly recommended (mandatory for skaters 12 & under).

Only skates or ice grips allowed on the ice.

Children must be supervised by an adult.

Prohibited: hockey, figure skating, reckless skating, carrying infants, earphone use, food/drinks, umbrellas, and pets on the ice.

A Release of Liability Agreement must be signed for skate rentals.
