The holiday season in Maple Ridge begins with one of the community’s most beloved traditions: the Annual Santa Claus Parade & Christmas in the Park Festival, returning on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This long-standing celebration brings families together for festive entertainment, Christmas displays, food trucks, live activities, a cheerful holiday market, and the highly anticipated nighttime Santa Claus Parade.
Presented by the Maple Ridge Christmas Festival Society in partnership with Maple Ridge Parks & Recreation, the Downtown Maple Ridge BIA, and The ACT Theatre, this annual event has been a cornerstone of the community for more than two decades. The 2025 edition marks the 22nd Annual Christmas Festival, promising an unforgettable evening of lights, music, and Christmas spirit.

The evening begins with Christmas in the Park, a family-friendly celebration featuring festive displays, activities, entertainment, and holiday food. Visitors are invited to explore the decorated outdoor spaces, enjoy local performances, and take part in hands-on Christmas fun.

Christmas Market

Maple Ridge Santa Claus Parade (6 PM)
The highlight of the evening, the Santa Claus Parade, begins at 6:00 PM. Families line the streets of Downtown Maple Ridge to enjoy illuminated floats, community groups, performers, music, dancers, and imaginative holiday displays. The parade combines creativity, community pride, and holiday magic as entries from across the region showcase their best seasonal decorations.

Parade Participation & Registration
Businesses, organizations, clubs, societies, and individuals with a love for Christmas are invited to join the parade.
Entry Fees
– Float Entry Fee: $50 (to help offset rising traffic control costs)
– Non-Profit Organizations: Free
– If the entry fee is a hardship, participants may register without payment—the society welcomes all community involvement.
