Merry & Bright at Martini Town 2026

Most Christmas light shows are in a park. Merry & Bright is on a film set. Martini Town is a working outdoor backlot in Langley that’s stood in for small towns and big cities in TV shows, movies and ads, and every winter the studio opens its gates to the public with the streets dressed for Christmas: a lit-up New York street, a small-town main street, movie snow falling from above, live music, Santa in the gazebo and a heated market tent.

The 2026 season runs November 20 to December 31, the fourth year the set has opened to the public. Here are the dates, the closed days, the hours, how tickets work and how to get there.

Dates and Closed Days

Open November 20 to December 31, 2026, except:

• November 23 to 26
• November 30 and December 1
• December 7 and 8
• December 14 and 15
• December 25

It’s open on Monday and Tuesday, December 21, 22, 28 and 29. November 15 is a private event.

Hours and What Happens When

Gates close at 9:00 PM, and you can stay until 10:00 PM. The full calendar is on the official schedule page.

What You’ll See and Do

• The film set: a small-town main street and an illuminated New York street that have been the backdrop for dozens of productions.
• Lights, garlands and window displays, with movie-style snow falling.
• Live music from local musicians, with Vancouver trio The Dimes as featured guests.
• Santa in the gazebo from 3:30 to 8:30 PM, November 20 to December 23, and the Green Christmas Grouch from 4:00 to 8:00 PM (arrive by 7:30 to catch him).
• Market Lane: a heated tent with 20 local vendors, bigger this year.
• Photos: bring your camera. Some people dress up for it.

Food and Drink

Expect comfort food, hot drinks, local craft beer and cider, wine, canned cocktails, mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate, plus a new Mediterranean Grill this year. Outside food and drink aren’t allowed, but you can bring an empty water bottle to fill at the free refill station. Menus are on the event’s food page.

Tickets

• Buy in advance for your whole group. There are no gate sales, though same-day tickets may be available if there’s room.
• Arrive in your time slot, then stay as long as you like.
• Tickets arrive by email. Check your spam folder.
• No refunds, but you can exchange for another date or time with 24 hours’ notice, or give your tickets to someone else.

Getting There and Parking

Martini Town is at 1123 272 Street in Langley. Free on-site parking is limited, so carpool if you can. Parking on 272 Street isn’t allowed.

There’s no transit to the door. The closest bus is the 503 at Fraser Highway and 276 Street, and the organizers suggest a taxi or rideshare from there because 272 Street has no sidewalks.

Accessibility

• The wide paved film streets work best for mobility aids. Some areas have raised curbs, artificial turf, or few or no ramps.
• Mobility aids aren’t provided or rented.
• Accessible parking is on packed gravel by the entrance, with a step-free portable washroom and a wheelchair-accessible restroom.
• Service animals are welcome. Emotional support animals aren’t.
• There’s no Access 2 Card program or disability rate this year. Email hello@merrybright.ca before booking to talk through your needs.

Good to Know

• It’s all outdoors, with tents and covered spots. Dress for the weather.
• It stays open in rain or snow. If it has to close for dangerous weather, you get a voucher to reschedule.
• No pets except service animals, and it’s smoke-free, including the parking lot.
• No Santa photographer. Bring your own phone or camera. Tripods and drones aren’t allowed.
• No kids’ play area, though it suits all ages.
• A portion of proceeds goes to the Food Bank, according to the founder.
