The Surrey Tree Lighting Festival and Holiday Market returns on November 23 and 24, 2024, at Surrey Civic Plaza. This free, family-friendly event promises to dazzle with its festive entertainment, twinkling light displays, holiday food trucks, and artisan market. From Surrey’s iconic 60-foot Christmas tree to interactive light tunnels and live performances across multiple stages, this event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

Event Highlights

• Surrey’s 60-Foot Christmas Tree: The star of the show, Surrey’s 60-foot Christmas tree, adorned with giant ornaments, festive lights, and a stunning star tree-topper, will be lit during the Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 25, at 6:30 PM. The tree will stay illuminated throughout the festival and remain lit until early January 2024.
• Unite for Light: On Sunday, November 26, help the Snow Sisters keep Surrey’s Christmas tree shining bright as they face off against a green and grumpy visitor who plans to turn off the lights and spoil the holiday season. Join in the fun and unite to save the festivities!

• Sparkling Light Tunnel: Wander through a magical light tunnel and admire over 500 feet of waterfall lights, perfect for capturing memorable photos. With festive light displays and décor at every turn, the festival offers a captivating visual experience for all ages.
• Enchanted Eats on Enchanted Boulevard: Follow your nose to Enchanted Boulevard and enjoy delicious bites from a variety of local food trucks offering holiday snacks and treats.

Snowflake Stage: Located on Surrey Civic Plaza, the Snowflake Stage is the main stage of the festival, featuring local bands, choirs, holiday classics, and the highly anticipated Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Mayor and Council.
