- Tree-Lighting Ceremony: Kick off the holiday season on December 1st at 4:45 PM, hosted by Tourism Richmond. Meet Santa, enjoy live entertainment, and sip on light refreshments.
- Holiday-Themed Tram: The historic tram is decked out with illuminated trees and festive decorations, perfect for holiday photos.
- Storytime on the Tram: Listen to readings of The Polar Express by Richmond Public Library on December 7 and December 15. Reading times: 2:00 PM, 2:40 PM, and 3:20 PM. Limited seating; tickets available 15 minutes before each session.
- Junior Tram Conductor Station: Let the kids dress up and imagine life as a tram conductor in this interactive play area.
- LEGO Display: Marvel at a holiday LEGO display of Richmond heritage buildings created by Peter Grant, “Mr. LEGO,” viewable in the Tram building window starting December 1.
- Scavenger Hunt: Hunt for holiday items throughout the Tram building and find “Hamm on the Tram,” the adorable pig stuffy, hidden in different spots. Receive a special tram bookmark to track your finds.
