Originally a converted milk house from the old dairy and poultry farm, this tiny building became the heart of a growing Christmas shop that quickly outgrew its space. After a remarkably successful opening year—often requiring Glenda to stand outside so customers had room inside—the store became a cherished seasonal destination.

Over the years, the store survived city bylaw challenges, passionate community support, and even a feature on CTV when the city nearly forced its closure. More than 400 letters from local supporters helped secure special zoning approval, ensuring the cottage would continue to shine as a Fraser Valley Christmas icon.

Although Glenda passed away in 2018, her legacy lives on through her family—daughter Shawna, husband Jim, grandchildren, and a dedicated team who treat the store like home.
