Out in the fields of Chilliwack’s Greendale, a farm turns into a Christmas village for a few weeks every winter: glowing paths, heritage-style light scenes, a little train, a Christmas market, a fire pit and a Santa’s Workshop with its own post office. It’s a slower, more rural kind of Christmas outing than the big city light shows.

- The Greendale Farm Light Experience: a walk past sparkling displays, glowing paths and heritage-style light scenes.
- The Greendale Express: a train ride through Murray Blackham’s historic Old Yale Road light display, now carried on at Greendale Acres. Part of the proceeds each year goes to a charity in Murray’s honour.
- Santa’s Workshop and Post Office: write and mail a letter to Santa, meet the elves, and do some crafts.
- A Holiday Wishing Tree to leave a wish or message.
- A Christmas market with local artisans, décor, treats and warm drinks.
- The Fireside Holiday Pavilion for warming up.
