Noël Surrey, with the Magic of Bright Nights, is billed as the Lower Mainland’s largest indoor-outdoor Christmas festival. It combines the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund’s Bright Nights light display with the Noël Village, a Christmas Market, rides, holiday characters and entertainment, all at the Cloverdale Fairgrounds in Surrey. Kids aged 6 and under are free, and parking is included.
The festival runs from November 27 to December 29, 2026, open 3:00 to 9:30 PM nightly. It is closed on November 30, December 7, December 24 and December 25.

The festival says the Candy Cane Slide is for children aged 6 to 12 with a minimum height of 48 inches. Food, drinks and Christmas Market items are available for purchase.
The Bright Nights Light Walk
The light walk is a stroll around the pond at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre, with millions of lights, larger-than-life displays, LED forests, illuminated see-saws and 300 feet of light tunnels. The festival describes the display as accessible. It is produced through thousands of volunteer hours by more than 1,100 firefighters and is the single largest annual fundraiser for the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
The Bright Nights tradition began in the mid-1980s, when Surrey residents Bob Wingfield and Marg Barrett built an elaborate Christmas light display at their Newton home with support from Surrey fire fighters. They donated their light collection to the Burn Fund in 1997, creating Bright Nights, which operated in Stanley Park for more than 25 years.
The Noël Village and Santa’s Snow Barn
The Noël Village is a 30,000-plus-square-foot indoor space in the Cloverdale Agriplex. New this year is Santa’s Snow Barn, an indoor, heated venue that is home to Santa’s Castle, an expanded Christmas Market, a bar, a lounge area and additional washrooms. Inside the village you can visit the Green Grouch and Martha Mae, meet Sprinkle the Elf and shop the Christmas Market.
Food and Drink
The festival is fully licensed, with bars scattered throughout. Options named on the site include Jack Frost’s Bar, the Noël Village Bar, the Snow Barn Bar, Cedar Beverage Cabins, Winter Spice Kitchen, the Bavarian Plaza, local food trucks, a dining hub, cozy dining huts and fire pits.
