If Christmas at your place isn’t Christmas until someone plays A Charlie Brown Christmas, you need Apple TV. Apple holds the rights to the Peanuts specials, and it has built a cozy, family-heavy holiday lineup around them.
This year Apple adds a new Snoopy special, a Fraggle Rock holiday special and a family film with Chris Pratt. Here’s what’s new for 2026, when to catch the free Charlie Brown weekend, and everything else worth watching.

Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy (November 13)
Snoopy lands on Santa’s naughty list, and with 12 days to go until Christmas, he sets out to prove he’s not such a bad beagle after all. Along the way he works out that the season is about more than presents. The soundtrack is a highlight, with music from John Legend, Kamasi Washington with Leon Bridges, and Laufey.
Way of the Warrior Kid (November 25)
Not a Christmas movie, but a holiday-weekend family pick. A bullied middle schooler spends the summer with his uncle, an injured Navy SEAL played by Chris Pratt, who puts him through a homemade training program. Linda Cardellini and Jude Hill co-star.
Fraggle Rock: A Holiday Gift (December 4)
Wembley is named Spirit Captain and sets out to spread cheer around the Rock. Then the Fraggles accidentally take a treasured snow globe from Doc’s workshop, the holiday spirit starts to fade, and Wembley has to return it. Nicole Scherzinger makes an appearance.

- The Velveteen Rabbit: a gentle live-action and animated version of the classic story, good for younger kids.

Once the kids have seen Snoopy twice, swap the screen for a stage. Up on Grouse Mountain, The Peak of Christmas even has Christmas movies playing in its theatre.
