There’s no single Santa in Vancouver. He’s on top of Grouse Mountain, in a gazebo on a Langley film set, on a heritage train in Squamish, in a cannery boiler house in Steveston and, on a few lucky evenings, in a pole barn on a Surrey heritage farm. Some of these visits are free. Some come with breakfast. One involves a flight ride.
Below is every Santa visit and Santa photo opportunity we’re following in Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland for 2026, sorted by type. For the rest of the season, see our Vancouver Christmas Guide 2026.

Tips for Santa Photos
- Book the free ones the day reservations open. Surrey’s free Santa photos open November 4, and the popular slots go within days.
- Go early in the season. Lines are shortest in late November and longest the weekend before Christmas.
- Bring your own camera. Many free events let you take your own photo. Ticketed ones often include or sell prints.
- Feed and nap first. A tired toddler and a long line is a hard combination. Weekday afternoons are calmer.
