VanDusen Festival of Lights 2025: A Magical Holiday Experience in Vancouver
Step into a botanical wonderland this holiday season at the VanDusen Festival of Lights 2025. Dates for this year’s event have not yet been announced, but it typically runs from late November through early January. With over one million twinkling lights spread across 15 acres, this festive experience remains one of Vancouver’s most cherished holiday traditions.


In recent years, the festival has introduced dazzling new features, such as interactive art installations and light displays inspired by the Great Bear Rainforest, bringing the beauty of British Columbia’s nature to life in creative and magical ways.

VanDusen Botanical Garden is committed to accessibility. Each year, the Festival of Lights hosts a Sensory-Friendly Evening, designed for neurodiverse individuals, their families, and caregivers. Capacity is reduced, sound levels are lowered, and flashing lights are removed—creating a calm and inclusive holiday experience.

📅 2025 dates and hours are not yet announced. In past years, the event has operated daily (except Christmas Day) from 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
