Cultus Lake in summer means beaches and waterslides. On one Saturday in November, Main Beach hosts something quieter: Santa in a tent by the water, local artisans, hot cocoa, a Christmas light display through the park and, to finish, fireworks over the lake from the Main Beach docks. It’s free, and it’s a nice small-town start to the season.

Colouring Contest for Kids
Kids can colour a page and drop it off at Santa’s tent to win a festive prize. There are three printable pages on the event page: Gingerbread Man, Santa’s Workshop and Snowman. Age groups and judging haven’t been published.
Parking
Parking in the park is by donation for upcoming events. The amount isn’t listed, so call park reception at (604) 858-3334 if you want to check.
Sponsor a Tree or Volunteer
Businesses and individuals can sponsor one of the park’s Christmas trees by emailing cultuscommunityevents@cultuslake.bc.ca. Volunteers are needed to decorate, help with the Santa line or pack up, and they get free coffee and donuts. Sign-up is on the event page.

- Arrive by 4:00 PM for the shortest Santa line.
- Stay for 7:45 PM. Fireworks over the lake are the highlight.
- Dress for the lakeshore. It’s colder by the water.
